The second workshop on open games and compositional economics will be held in Oxford from 4th — 6th July 2018. It is colocated with (but not affiliated with) the Federated Logic Conference. Attendance is by invitation.

The first workshop on open games was held at the University of Strathclyde in July 2017.

Scope

The core topic of the workshop is the theory of open games and their applications in economics. This year we are also emphasising the following new directions:

  • (Open) games on (open) networks
  • Compositional or categorical accounts of numerical analysis and computation
  • Applications of game theory to natural language semantics

Additionally, any application of category theory or compositionality to economics is on-topic.
